What should I know about ACCUPLACER placement tests?

Scores on the ACCUPLACER are good for 2 years from test date.  All students are eligible for a retest once in each subject.

No time limit on ACCUPLACER tests, but it is recommended to plan for at least one hour of testing for each subject.

Reading, Writing, and Quantitative Reasoning Algebra and Statistics are multiple choice, adaptive, and a calculator is built into the exam.  Scratch paper and pencils are provided by the Testing Center.  To learn more about the content covered on the test, download a Study Plan to navigate the tabs on this guide.

Students should limit what personal belongings they plan to bring to the Testing Center and store these items in a locker after checking in.
