Assessment

Welcome to FCC Learning Outcomes Assessment

Learning Assessment:  To engage in an intentional process measuring student learning for data-informed betterment. -Joe Levy

The Frederick Community College mission focuses on teaching and learning.

Learning outcomes represent what students are expected to know and/or be able to do by the end of their academic courses and programs. To gain deeper insights into how effectively students are learning, the College implements comprehensive assessment processes that go beyond traditional course grading. The ultimate goal of these efforts is continuous improvement—empowering faculty and staff to make data-informed and meaningful enhancements to curriculum, academic and co-curricular practices, and instruction. This site offers a range of resources and training materials designed to support faculty and staff in effectively navigating and implementing assessment processes at FCC.
