Tutoring & Writing Center

Drop-in assistance for help with any writing in all courses, research, study skills coaching, and beginning American Sign Language .

American Sign Language Tutoring

Spanish:

  • Intro.: Tues. 11:30am- 2:30pm, Thurs. 10:00am-6:00pm, Fri. 11:00am-4:00pm,  Sat.: 1:30pm –3:30pm
  • Intermediate: Thurs. 10:00am-6:00pm, Friday 11:00am-4:00pm

French:

  • Intro. 1: Mon. 10:00am-2:00pm,Tues. 10:00am-1:30pm,  Thurs. 10:00am-6:00pm, Fri. 11:00-3:30pm
  • Intro. 2 -Intermediate: Tues. 10:00am-1:30pm, Thurs. 11:00am-1:30pm, Fri. 11:00am-3:30pm.

Online Appointment Tutoring

Online Tutoring 

Online tutoring for the Spring semester will open January 20th, 2024.

How it works:

Online tutoring sessions are conducted via Zoom and are by appointment. Schedule varies by subject. Appointment availability can be viewed through our online scheduling system (directions here).  

STEM Learning Center

  • Online tutoring sessions are available for introductory science, technology, engineering, math, accounting, or economics courses.

Tutoring & Writing Center

  • Online tutoring sessions are available for any writing in all courses, research, American Sign Language, and study skills coaching.
  • Online Writing Center: Students can also receive emailed feedback on papers via FCC's Online Writing Center. Papers can be submitted at any time and will be returned within 48 hours, excluding Sundays and holidays. Instructions available here.

*Online tutoring is closed when the college is closed. See our current hours for more information.
