Financial Aid for Travel

FCC students may apply for scholarships and financial aid to cover costs associated with international travel experiences.

Federal and State Financial Aid and FCC Foundation Scholarships

FCC students are eligible to apply for financial aid for International Travel Experiences, which includes Federal, State, and FCC Foundation scholarships.

Financial Aid for the International Travel Course Tuition and Fees    Federal and State financial aid can only be awarded to students for courses that are required as part of the student’s degree program.  All financial aid is disbursed to the student account to cover tuition and fees associated with the travel course according to FCC financial aid guidelines.

Financial Aid for Travel Expenses   Students may be eligible for financial aid (scholarships, grants, and loans) for travel expenses including airfare, tours, lodging, and meals.

How to Access Financial Aid   Students are encouraged to contact an FCC financial aid advisor to discuss options for trip financing.  Students must be registered for at least six credits during the semester of travel.  It is important to note that financial aid refunds are available approximately 4-6 weeks after the start of the semester.
